In our Tear Clinic, we thoroughly assess your eyelids, tear production and tear quality. We measure your tear break-up time, tear prism height, we assess the lipid component, the aqueous component, we look at your Meibomian glands, the meibum that is secreted, and the general health of the front of your eyes.
After an hour of examination, we can conclude why your eyes are dry and irritable. We can then tailor proper treatment to help you produce better tears, and treat your symptoms, meaning that you will have much more comfortable eyes.
Far more advanced and scientific than just giving you a bottle of eye drops.
